Perdomo Cigars thank you! 🙏🏾 Funny you mentioned that particular cigar. One of my favorites by y’all, along with the 20th Sun Grown. For that 12 year, I’d do a nice aged rum to elevate the caramel sweetness, and cedar notes. Probably a Flor De Cana, or a Zacapa Rum. 😎

Man.. this was ya boys first cigar. Got up 1st thing in the morning. Poured me a nice hot cup of coffee. Grabbed the kudzu and a lighter and fired it up on the porch. Absolutely delicious. Then that nicotine hit... put ya boy back in the bed the rest of the day 😂😂😂 Been building up my tolerance ever since.

Welcome to the ashy world BOTL. You started with a pretty top notch stick but may I recommend you try a Connneticutt stick next time. Generally a milder cigar but watch or read some reviews first to be sure. RR is correct too. Always have a decent meal on your stomach before you light up. Get a good light, go slow, and draw easy...no more than 1 puff a minute or so. You don't want to overheat your cigar Also, don't hold the stick in your mouth too long because you can absord nicotine through your lips. A tip I learned when I started was to sit your cigar down between hits if you seem to be smoking too quickly. That will automatically slow you down. Take your time and enjoy. Welcome again and stay ashy...! 😤

You have to be careful fooling with Ron my fellow BOTL lol. He tends to prefer sticks with strength as opposed to milder cigars. Oh but don't worry, we've all been there a time or two..... Had a buddy bring me an Illusione one morning to work. We both figured it'd be a nice quick smoke to try considering the size & shape of the vitola. Needless to say, he and I were both having a time focusing after that one (and mind you, he's an avid Cuban smoker who inhales 😳)
