Dear Sir, Right now I am responsible for finance , accounts , taxation , legal compliance and logistics as well. It's not just local taxation, there are other aspects as well like local corporate law and other regulatory requirements and also local UK GAAP being taught for accounting , UK corporate governance code and the list can go on etc. Compare the course material and you will understand how ICAEW is customized to meet the requirements specific to UK.

Hi Gaurav sir could you please advice me? To become fully qualified, I need to take 5 CIMA exams while for ACCA 10 exams. I am really confused and need your guidance. I did my master's in finance, and thinking to later pursue at least CFA level 1, if I choose CIMA. Actually you can do both. You only need to give one paper to become CIMA. Once you complete your 5 years experience you can apply for ACCA as you will get 9 exemptions.

Yes, you are correct. CMA is a small sub set of CPA syllabus. However, some aspects are covered more in detail in CMA as it is a specialisation.
