Born in 1972 in Venice, California across the street from Oakwood Park. For black Americans times were so different but I was blessed. I’m remember when the real OG’s looked out for kids. Told us to go to school, become a lawyer. Because we going to need U, times were different kids would ride bikes & help the older people. Bikes & skateboarding or skates was everything to us. My uncle was a shoreline and I was so scared of those dudes 👀 as a kid . The black community was so good black stores & black everything but when that crack came in everything changed. I miss that time✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

That story came from cartoon from 53 on how they 43 and 53 split. Understand it was his words that the broadways and the 43 was getting into and the 53 wouldn't help them so they attitude was why keep the Avalon if they ain't getting no support.

This is an interesting one and thank both of you guys for touching on that. At the end of the day 4- Tray gets to dictate their story. These guys are way older than me I had no idea there was another 4-tray aside from 4-Tray Avalon we learn something new or old either way it’s good to have good information.

Hol’ up… Intro Slowed down for us Texas boys.
@fila_arthur2 ай бұрын
the video version of the intro is slower and like - 2 keys pitch down or something. i asked why and kev mac didn't know. maybe that's how the original tune sounds and what we know as kev macs intro is sped up and 2 notes higher that,s not quite texas style though, you need to go a few keys further down. it's a little annoying to me when i hear the slower version, like it was out of whack, because kev mac uses the faster version more often

G’Rat AGC 53 I can vouch for everything Cinbad said word for word is 1000% truth, I met Cinbad literally in the sand box at Rigley fields park (now Gilbert Lindsey) he wasn’t claiming 43 at that time lol, we the same age & this was 1977-78 I ended up shooting a dude at 12 yrs old, went to camp then was sent 2 live with my Grandmother in Avalon 53 that’s when I became 53, I know when he socked a ES blood in Church in YA, hes bro Insane Dwayne (General) Gangsta Thad was 8 yrs old bangn, he’s bro chino 43 Rip, they meetings in my hood at 49th st school etc, all truth certain 4tray claiming Avalon etc, but to add some clarity they came across Avalon bcuz they had afew homies who lived on 48th, and at that time 43s had the sack, a lots 53s was in jail wasn’t no Beef so that became the spot the Dope st, I was on the bloc everyday And also truth the 43-52 wasn’t super killing each other, wasn’t 2 much drama like the hype, all truth word 4 word right dude for the interview, It will never be like it was back in that era 79-90s now it’s watered down and dudes claiming to be OGs at 30 yrs old with baby & tiny homies named after them 😂
