Stopped in St George Utah on our way from Colorado to San Diego to climb Cinder Cone, an extinct volcano in Snow Canyon State Park. My wife and daughter waited at the bottom, so I didn't spend much time on the summit.
I highly recommend this very unique hiking experience if you are in the area.
The trailhead is located 12 miles north of St George, UT along highway 18
Distance: 1.5 miles (2.4 km)
Elevation Gain: 500 feet (152m)
Difficulty: I'd say moderate due to the steep very loose surface along the last 1/3 of the hike.

Thanks Chelsea and Mike! I really wanted to fly a 360 around the volcano with the drone, but it's inside a state park where drones are prohibited. There is one area of the state park where you can fly drones with a permit, but the volcano is over 1.5km away, so probably outside of VLOS. Cheers, Austin

@@AustinsADV that's a shame as would of loved to seen a drone shot of the area, but you captured the beauty of it very well, must be difficult abiding with drone laws in the USA

@@thevigarfeeling I'm jealous of all those great mountain top drone shots that you get. I'll have to find some peaks that I can fly, and go on a day where it's not windy.
