People are hating on the movie but I honestly suggest you judge it for yourself. If you make it halfway and hate it, I understand. But if you watch MOST Cinderella stories and just love them, this really is a GREAT one imo. I really hated the fact that they do mostly cover songs, sorry if that’s a spoiler but I really wish I knew before that they didn’t have many (maybe 1 or 2) fully original songs. But the messages are definitely newer to the Cinderella story, and you have to think about the fact that Cinderella is literally a little kids story and to have representation and morals like this in a kids movie is really beneficial. Idk how cheesy or bad other aspects were because kids aren’t going to notice. If I was trying to give this movie an award then I’d critique a kids movie for things like that.
