Nene is WONDERFUL in this! She did so amazing playing the stepmother. 😁 Loved it.

Nene really shocks me sometimes. I was amazed when I saw her on the new normal because ages ago I watched real housewives with a small mind but still out of every single housewife nene amazes me the most not only is she on tv she’s on Broadway and she’s bloody brilliant

Idk if anyone else has noticed but the one who played the evil stepsister is usually the girl in the orange dress (Stepsister's Lament) in the other productions.

Did they change the keys for Keke? I dont really mind it, it’s understandable because they did stunt cast, but listening to A Lovely Night in this compared to the cast recording sounds lower, and I’m not sure if they did

I do believe they lowered the keys for several pieces in the show.

@@voiceinfestation3846 If this were performed at a community college, I would give it a 10. But this is Broadway, the epitome of theatre in the US. Therefore, I rate this performance a 5 or 6 for Broadway's standards.
@gianna5262 жыл бұрын
The dancing is amazing but the singing and acting is shockingly mediocre. I was recently in a performance of Cinderella, and we're a very unprofessional homeschool group, and I genuinely think (not trying to be biased) that the lead actors did a better job than these Broadway ones, especially Cinderella and the stepmother. I've never found Broadway to be that incredible. Maybe I'm just unlucky but I thought Broadway is supposed to be the peak of theater.

When you get to watch something without paying attention to the color, in that moment you will know why they decided to bring the talented actress and singer Keke Palmer. Racist.

@latoyacameron44884 жыл бұрын
Cinderella isn’t a real person, first of all. Second, in the story they never mention that Cinderella is a white person, and it is not a story specifically about race, so therefore, she can be played by anyone. Brandy played Cinderella back in the 90’s, have you seen it? If you haven’t, you should. It is full of all beautiful ethnicities playing all kinds of roles. We’re in the year 2020, catch up. ✌🏽

@@latoyacameron4488 I am saying it precisely because of that, we are in 2020, and the African Americans who see everything as racist, I think they will feel offended that the maid is black, i hope they don't see this and make protests
