It's a new villain y'all
Hope you enjoy Cinderella's villain song! She's a gal whose just over the fairytale love story and being sold dreams of a happy ending. Now she's embracing being an agent of chaos and we love her for it.

✨CINDERELLA'S VILLAIN STORY✨
The day is mild, the sun glowing sweetly in the sky and Cinderella sits at her desk waiting with bated breath for the man she loves to walk through the door and save her. Only last night she met her soul mate, the person she knew she’d spend the rest of her life with. Then the clock struck twelve and Cinderella’s spell was broken, forcing them apart. But the power of love is strong, she’s read it in her books, and it can conquer all.
Finally the prince's men arrive, she knew he’d come for her! Cinderella races to her door to greet them, only to find that she had been locked in by her evil stepmother. Quickly, Cinderella sends her mice friends downstairs to retrieve the key, but unlike the tale you may be familiar with, they are unable to steal the key in time and so Cinderella misses their visit and her chance to be with the prince.
Cinderella remains in her room, locked there for weeks, living off of the hope that the Prince must be waiting for her. She has always been a being of love and hope, it’s all that’s gotten her through those years living as a servant, all that has gotten her through these tortuous weeks, the hope that there was a light, there was love at the end of the tunnel. If you stayed strong and treated those around you with kindness, no matter what they threw at you, then eventually you would find happiness too. Her Fairy Godmother would visit occasionally, encouraging her to wait, that much as she may wish, she cannot interfere in the course of true love anymore, the prince must come for her. And at long last her time was about to arrive, the man she loved would come for her eventually and she would finally step into a life she deserved. She just had to remain patient.
One afternoon, Cinderella is sitting at her desk again, her regular spot as she waits for her prince and to her surprise, her Fairy Godmother arrives to deliver some news. News that rocks Cinderella to her core. The prince has given up his search to find her. The prince has married another.
Cinderella’s heart plummets, at the height of her hope, the precipice of a new life, she is thrown right back to where she started. She truly thought this was her time, that the prince was different. A shadow crosses Cinderella’s face, a darkness she hasn’t felt ever before entering her heart. In a world full of evil even the purest of hearts can break and become something darker, something unrecognizable. For so long she had hoped for a life different to the one she had been given, she had taken the high road and sacrificed her own wellbeing in the process. But the high road suddenly looks far too high to climb and the low road seems very very appealing. Forgiveness and kindness have gotten her nowhere and so maybe it’s time for a different approach.
So this is love? Well if that’s the case, then she doesn’t want it. In fact she’ll ensure it’s something she never has to worry about again. After all, isn’t it about time she took back control of her life?

I loved the detail when Anastasia and Drizella come to check on Cinderella, their expressions tell alot. Drizella is glaring with a frown, while Anastasia looks concerned. It shows her good side from the sequels of the Cinderella movies.

I like how I get the feeling that while yes she wants to win, she might not necessarily mind losing, considering all that she's already gone through and how she really has nothing left to lose, she's decided to go down the most cathartic path for her. If she wins, then she'll get everything she's ever dreamed for, and if she loses, well she doesn't have to suffer anymore and how can it get worse than what she went through every day of her life.

@@lilyrose1581 I don't think that was her because they don't show her running past the Evil Cinderella, I think it was just one of the people in the audience, and it was meant to show what she was doing to the people who were running. Also, I think Cinderella locked all the people in so that there would be witnesses to what she was about to do to the prince. Either way, she knows who to be angry with.

Now that i think about it, it's sad that in this context, Cinderella not only got abused, mistreated and taken as a servant to her family and was longing for someone that loves her as who she is as person but now she's experiencing a broken heart by the prince, she got a lot of bad experiences with people that just treated her badly that there's no point for her to keep hoping for love because it's what happened to her was "love", then she doesn't want it anymore.

You have to love all the little detalis they put into this, like the broken hearts on Cinderella's shoes and the one the magic forms when shutting the door, how the neckline of her revenege dress looks like its been ripped like the damage done to her mother's dress, you know the one her step-sisters ruined upon their mother's prompting; how this is an entirely different universe from the movies because if this was following even Cinderella 3, Anatasia wouldn't have been there to open the door to check on her cause she would've married the prince like Lady Tremaine planned and Cinderella wouldn't have gotten the wand at all; even how she turned people into things from that night where it all started; the fairy godmother into a horse, her stepsisters into pumpkins, that one person into a mouse; I can bet had they shown her step mother she likely would've turned her into a dog or something to stick with the theme

A pity for the prince, though you would think that the fairy godmother could at least guide him back to her again with a warning that his princess was being held captive. Is it just me or is the Fairy Godmother the real villain here. I don't think the Prince can be faulted for not spending the rest of his life searching for a girl he met once for a few hours. Cinderella can't be faulted too much either, as she was fed false hope and platitudes by the Fairy Godmother. The entire time the Fairy Godmother had the power to free Cinderella and give her the life she deserved and was promised but instead decided to sit aside and do nothing

Cinderella's shoe staying after the stroke of midnight means that there's no ACTUAL time limit on the magic cast (Even shown in the 3rd movie). So she could really wreck havoc. She takes the bag on that! XD My only question is what happens with Lady Tremaine? She wasn't in the way AT THE TIME, so she wasn't immediately delt with like Drizzela, Anastacia, and Fairy Godmother

Just noticed this small detail in the video, after Cinderella tells Charming to kneel and forces the doors to lock using magic. This is great! Although, even though this is a Cinderella villain AU, I'm surprised that she didn't go after the stepmother. Sure, the prince was her main focus in this case, and she got her revenge on the stepsisters, but I'm pretty sure Cinderella would've made a quick side stop to deal the woman who made it her personal mission to make her life a living hell before beginning her conquest.

Damn, I feel bad for the prince. She is literally taking revenge on the wrong person, instead of going for the woman who abused her for years when she should have cared for and loved her, she is going for the man she met one night (who, as she said, did not know her name or her life situation.) because he married someone else, when he searched for her for weeks despite not knowing anything about her. If he married the other woman because of his father (in the original movie I remember that his dad was insisting and insisting that he get married) or he got tired of trying to find his one-night crush that taking into account the (non-existent) information that he had she couldn't even want him to find her, I don't blame him.

WHOA, Lydia this was amazing! I think I even like Cinderella's villain song better then Anna's and that's saying a lot! I have a suggestion, since you did a cover of Scar's Be Prepared, how about a villain song for Taran [The Black Cauldron]? I feel like a villain version of Taran could be so interesting, given how he just wants to be a hero but things just keep happening in the movie, plus out of universe Taran is not very popular. I'd like his villain song to be a dark version of When You Wish Upon A Star, either a dark Welsh style or 80s "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" style. Plot could either be during the events of the movie, not sure where and how he'd snap, or maybe after the movie, but in a crossover style way. Crossover way: Taran has been overshadowed by other Disney heros for so long, he feels ignored and inferior, tries to do something big, gets in danger, others turn on him, Morgana Lefay teaches Taran magic, Taran obtains a new sword, Taran becomes evil and causes chaos.
