It makes sense now. The birds made a shoe that only Cinderella could wear. The birds made the shoe fit exactly, down to the last millimeter. No one else could fit in the shoe because it wouldn’t bend to the shape of their foot, so it would hurt to wear, or they couldn’t get it on at all.

We've observed your work on the beach towers and washerdryers with great interest and request a design beyond any schematic you have ever drawn. Our cities are dying, highways cut through neighborhoods and nothing is within walking disdance necessitating ownership of automobiles, a huge financial burden on the working class. So I would ask that you apply your technical expertise to designing the world's first true smart city. It can be a top-down map or a vertical diagram, however you prefer to work is fine with us. With any luck this will be our species' first shot at a utopia. Consider it.

Ericat Companies like Disney have sugar-coated them eg The Little Mermaid which is a very cruel tale but the cartoon has been given a completely different ending.

My mother discouraged reading The Brothers Grimm and yet I had my oldest brother's 1940's edition Anderson's Tales book set which mysteriously vanished and which I since replaced along with the 1946 ed of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass set which vanished as mysteriously at the same time. Nobody could tell a story like these authors did and I must have read The 12 Dancing Princesses enough to put wear on the pages, but what I loved most about these sets was the illustrations! I'd stare at the men carrying the dragon tied to a branch toward the castle and think of how sad it was to kill this magnificent creature. I'm forever a huge fan of Fritz Kredel art though, master of this skill in bringing stories to life through images. Technically the tale wasn't written by the Brothers Grimm. The Brothers Grimm collected the stories from locals and then recorded them.

A future consideration for Drawing & Reading: Blockhead Hans by H.C. Andersen I used to listen to his stories and Brothers Grimm when I was younger on cassettes. But Blockhead Hans has been stuck in my memory for some reason. Anyways, good video as always Peter!

usually when someone reads a story to me, all i can think about is their voice. But strangely, with peter reading it, i could actually just listen and imagine the story without being conscious of how he sounds. maybe the drawing helped too. idk
