I always thought they had more of a brother and sister relationship. I thought the reason Cinder pelt was jealous when Fier heart/star started hanging out with Sand storm more was because, like any little sister, she worried that he would stop paying attention to her because he was to busy with his girlfriend. I mean, have they ever COMFIRMED that Cinder pelt had a crush on Fier heart/star? If not then I'm convinced that they simply have a brother sister relationship

i just wish i could find one thing of cinderpelt without it including her swooning over fireheart. she even told sandstorm she loved him, and was upset when he acted like a jerk to her and constantly reminded him that she had feelings for him, and was surprised at how oblivious he was of sandstorm. she didnt cry or get depressed that fireheart didnt return the little crush that was announced in a erin hunter talk, she was depressed because she could never be a warrior. she was happy when he finally accepted sandstorm and even promised to be his best friend no matter what. heck, the whole thing started during a scene where they shared tongues, and got to its worst when one of the authors decided to be a dumbass on ruining the whole friend relationship by claiming cinderpelt had a crush on fireheart, which i explained somewhat earlier. and that wasnt till way after those books where the incident with cinderpelt occured i just want to see one thing with them where its actually panromantic and not cinder turning melanie martinez over fireheart not being her mate. stop please she isnt a spottedleaf clone basically the same happened with whitewing and ashfur. oh wow they shared tongues and whitewing was upset over him dying. totally means they fucked and dont argue about dove and ivy looking like him. Birchfall was claimed to be grey once, and the hunters are bad with pelt genetics anyway. how does a white shecat and ginger tabby make a fully grey shekit? ( lionheart and frostfur with cinderkit ) plus, if he had whitewing why would he go batshit over squirrelflight still? maybe he would, considering he is crazy, but his behavior clearly showed he didnt want any friends or mates after his victim didnt return his obsessive love, and that he was intent on going after squirrelflight. he was a sociopath basically. and whitewing loved birchfall. it was intended basically every book of the near middle second series and on forward on how much they loved eachother. pretty sure she wouldnt make out with another cat in the midst of that. ashfur had his own problems, and knowing whitewing, she wouldnt interfere with that. maybe give him support, but ashfur was angry and oblivious and impossible to talk to after he went fully mad. basically, he was intent on hurting squirrelflight's family and nothing else. i would had liked it if the reason he didnt go to cat hell was because he was mentally ill, but, being directed at a younger age group, they probably couldnt directly imply that, much as they could not directly imply bluestar's spiral into depression. thats probably the explanation for the cheesy line yellowfang gave that he loved too much.

I didnt say you couldnt animate what you want, I was expressing my opinion on the whole thought people have on the cinderpelt and firestar scenario. First off, there is nothing about cinderpelt in any books suggesting he wants to be her mate, or she wants to be his. In rising storm she even says he will always be her best friend. She got mad at leafpool because it was against the warrior code and that she was running away for crowfeather, thus abandoning her medicine cat role, not because she wanted to be firestar's mate. He already had two full grown children by then.. I have read each book quite remarkably and carefully, I would know. Why would she flat out remind firestar every day sandstorm loves him if she was in deep lust with him to be her mate? She pretty much forgot about the whole incident once yellowfang fostered her up

And yes, I know it is sometimes thrown in about her feelings for firestar, but that was just a small crush only made public outside of the books truely. Knowing the erins, they will pop that in there, but it doesnt go to the point where she is distracted from her duties. Cinderpelt got angry with leafpool when she accused cinder of not knowing love because to be honest, she was being a oblivious jackass to cinderpelt and ignoring anything other cats knew. she did know love because she constantly binded fire and sand together with loving care for her friend and former mentor. She cared alot for firestar and his family, and maybe had the occasional crush that, like i said was made public outside of the books before sandstorm and firestar were mates, but after that she stopped, and never stopped caring for him in a panromantic way

listen, only 4 parts out of this 24 part part even have sandstorm in them. it's definitely NOT the main focus of this map, i can tell you that being the host. my main intention was to show cinderpelt missing being an apprentice ("that boy, not that girl" in the beginning being their mentor/apprentice) relationship. the parts with sandstorm at the end can most definitely be interpreted as fireheart moving on with his life in general. why i didn't include cloudpaw in the script to show this is because sandstorm is a she-cat and i came up with this script two years ago when i was 14 and didn't have a clue what i was doing. you can interpret what goes on in the map in anyway. a few of the animators and commenters have interpreted it as cinderfire and while i don't agree with that interpretion, that's what they've decided to do. i myself don't believe cinderpelt's crush on fireheart to be canon. it was mentioned outside of the book with no evidence. sure there may have been something for maybe a /day/ //after// she became an apprentice (apprentice/mentor rom relationships/crushes are super weird anyway) but briefly. i like to view cinderpelt as fireheart's friend and student first and foremost. i'm not going crack down super hard on anyone who does ship them though, even if they call it a canon ship, because they are just cats in books and while i would be upset, it's still not a very big deal i'm sorry if you were upset by this. i did state in this map's script that it was left vague for interpretation, and although my personal interpretation would have been different than others, this is what the map came out to be, and i still think it is magnificent regardless.

no no, the map is beautiful and i cant change what animators decide to draw, i just get peeved when every thing of cinderpelt i seem to see includes her going sob form over firestar. heck, i wasnt even talking about just this map in general, i was talking about every other one or so that includes cinderfire drama, which this map sort of has but not as bad as some other ones I have seen, like in the cinderpelt map by ginjaninja that literally has the entire video with every map part of her crying over firestar not loving her. the animators did a great job in my opinion, and i will not judge that.

+Madison Ibraimovski well, if you have a problem with the representation of cinderpelt in general, this was not the place to voice it. you can definitely voice your complaint in your own spaces online, but making comment chains on other peoples videos that arent even the worst examples of what you're upset about is not a way to do it. thank you for not escalating this any further

Because when she fought that badger, one, she died. Two, she only used her front paws to swipe and her teeth or bite. And because it stated very clearly that she had a bad limp. And being a warrior is mostly running. She wouldn't be able to catch prey, or run away from an attacker. Sad but true :(
