I have also the feeling it barely effects the skin tones while still increasing the saturation of everything else. So if u want do add a little saturation but u dont want the skin tones look orangy vibrance often gives u the wanted result!

Another great little tut, thank you. I normally use the Leeming LUT for the GH5. I've used Ghalex too but now I'm playing with a straight rec709 and then applying FilmConvert, partly because I'm experimenting with some old Minolta Rokkor lenses. It does depend on the scene. Leeming for strong colours and contrasts and a more natural look, Ghalex for talking heads and then FilmConvert for a more filmic look. Keep up the great work 👍

You can do the tip #3 the other way around: try not to include the eyes and hair of your subject, decrease the contrast a bit and lower sharpness as well. It will give you a similar effect to beautifying plugins such as Cosmo ;)

This may sound a bit arrogant, but I actually use my own LUTs 😅 I have crafted a LUT that mimics the look of _KODAK Vision 2 - 200T 7217 (16mm)_ whith some variants and I use them almost all the time! 😁✨ before that I've used the LUTs from impulz 35mm a lot, which are the best film emulation luts you can find IMO 😉

Nice tut. I've just started working with 4k footage and it's so slow it's unbearable to use on Premiere Pro. My computer is for gaming so I thought it would at least be able to do 4k in 1/4 mode... Do I need a new computer? Or should I just go back to filming in 1080p?
