I enjoy the trailer referencing "The King of Comedy" or "The Dark Knight Returns". With that said I hope the movie is unique to these call backs and not a copy. I'm also hoping there isn't a cliched feel to Thomas Wayne = rich man bad. Sympathy for Arthur Fleck is fine as long at it doesn't overshadow how sinister & twisted the Joker is. JPhoenix is absolutely nailing it with his performance. I hope the movie lives up to how good it is looking so far.

Dun Ringill the whole goal that Todd Phillips has to make audiences sympathize with a character like Arthur...and then he starts doing some reallllll messed up stuff and goes off the rails so audiences are like damn I was really rooting for this guy lol

Ceasaro Grant of course if the movie does extremely well and I’m 100% sure it’ll be amazing, Warner bros are going to try to push a sequel but I doubt Joaquin Phoenix would be up for it. I think I seen an interview with him and he said that he took the role because it could possibly bring awareness to people with mental disorders and it’s more than just a guy trying to kill people for fun. Who really knows though? Everything that I’ve heard about the movie sounds like it’s going to live up to everyone’s expectations

Nani?! I got that from the get go ( mentally illness) it broke heart watching the first trailer.. I knew where they we’re going with that.. And I also think Phoenix might turn down the Sequel, but I don’t want 2 get ahead of myself... it’s just an idea.. But it’s funny that they won’t say “ The Joker” Just Joker , it’s says a lot...
