Cinema 4d Bolt Modelling

I am not a 3d design expert and this is not a tutorial channel. This channel contains my experiences about Cinema 4d. Especially modeling. I just want to share what I learn.

its not for beginners... the layout isnt default there r tools i cant find in the default layout...since im completely new to c4d i cant find the join edges tool while it looks impressive n promising theres no point if a beginner cannot follow what u r doing...also keep in mind about putting in shortcut keys while making a tutorial helps a lot more thanks

at 4:41 the iron tool doesn't work for me unless I have two loops selected. it looks like you only have one, am i doing something wrong?

Hi Jack. I think you use one of the latest versions of Cinema 4d. I dont know with which version it started but it looks like a bug. at the video I use R18(R19 too) and it works perfect. but the at the latest versions iron tool a little bit weird. absurdly, it works well with two loops.

@@gogolerius figured it out. needed to switch to the 'smooth edges tool' in the latest version of C4D. thanks!

How to make texture?

Hi. There is no a spesific texturing. only metalic material and Hdri image for lighting.

at 1:04 the inner and outer cirkels dissapear butt you've only selected the 2 outer ones how exactly did you do that?

Thank you Jay. I have selected two outers bye loop selection. then I've hold the space to return the live selection at 1:04. Then I've selected center point, you can see at 1:04. So two outer and center points have been deleted.
