What version of Cinema 4D are you using?

This is an awesome tutorial. I'm trying to do something similar, but my "floaties" stop moving after 94 frames and I have no idea why. I have no keyframes set up and I can't see any setting on the cloner relating to time. Any ideas?

is all your timeline visible?
@davidcroucher62624 жыл бұрын
@@DIGITALMEAT Yup. The max preview time is set to the same as the project length in the project settings and I've inspected the timeline in both the dopesheet and F-curve windows. In my scene the idea is that there is a nano bot clone and spawning new cells so there is a particle emitter causing cells to swarm and multiply in an environment like the one you have here. The animation is meant to be 500 frames long. My cell particles are fine for the whole length of the animation, and the "floaties" continue to react when they collide with the moving cells throughout, but they stop moving along the spline at frame 94.

Actually, having played around a little further, it's the dynamics body causing the issue. They carry on moving along the spline once it's gone, but obviously I want the reaction between them and I still don't know what on the dynamics tag is causing the problem.

Fixed it! I had to switch the "trigger" setting on the dynamics tag from "immediately" to "on collision". Thanks for your help! I was hoping for a response form the community, never expected a direct response from you so thank you so much. I love your videos, your series on realflow has helped me loads.

@@davidcroucher6262 - Yup, that'll be the issue, when set to collision dynamics will only start when the object detects a dynamic interaction. Glad you like the videos and glad you enjoyed the realflow series.
