Hey thank you so much for this amazing Tutorial. I would like to ask 2 questions. Is there a way to change the SHAPE of the cracked items to let's say let the fractures look like Brickstones and not random pieces ? And Is there a way to use the Voronoi Fracture on a Grid-object? Thanks a lot in advanced

Great tutorial Sean, thank you. I am having issues with using Motext. I put it as a child of the Voroni Fracture and dynamics tag. Its breaking into skinny pieces and not chunks. If I click " closed holes " on the Voroni, I do get the chunks. However, all the holes on the letters ( such as B, P, A, etc. ) will connect and closed them. Any ideas when using motext? Thanks

I loved this tutorial I tried it but I couldn't figure out how to get it to work with a glass texture without showing all the glass fractures within. What obvious thing did I miss? You can see the finished render on my channel.

Good stuff. How do these work with dynamics?
@SeanFrangella8 жыл бұрын
It does! I'll be posting another Fracture video next week to get into how this new system works with dynamics and extruded 3D text & logo.

Is there a tutorial on how to make text on a spline and extruded like that?
@SeanFrangella7 жыл бұрын
There are a couple different ways to do that, check out these ones as options: www.motiontutorials.net/blog-tutorials/after-effects-3d-text www.motiontutorials.net/blog-tutorials/create-a-3d-extruded-logo-in-cinema4d

can we break things in to cubes?
@SeanFrangella8 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can create the clones using a checkerboard shader as the source, and it would create them evenly as cubes. I'll have an additional Voronoi Fracture videos in the coming weeks to get a lot deeper into this feature! Be sure to check www.MotionTutorials.net for more upcoming videos.
