Hi EJ, great tutorial again! To get less pinches maybe you can try and set your spline type to B-spline instead of bezier. In most cases you get much cleaner geometry that way.
@eyedesyn9 жыл бұрын
+MotionSnacks That's a great suggestion! I noticed playing with the Angle setting helped as well with Subdivision mode, cranking it up to 90º

Is there some little xpresso setup or anything that would allow you to drive the mospline's spline position with a plain effector?
@eyedesyn8 жыл бұрын
+Charlie Goodvibes You can actually use mograph effectors to animate Mosplines by dropping Effectors into the Mospline 'Effector' tab!
@robleymcdonnell8 жыл бұрын
+eyedesyn I actually meant to post that on the unrolling banner video haha. Multiple tabs... As it relates to that one, I was referring to when you mess with the drop down menu on controlling the bend so it unrolls without doubling back on itself, if you could use an effector to drive those points and control the unroll that way.

Hello, I need some help haha. I'm on c4d r23 and in the extrude menu the Regular grid seems to have disappeared? Any Idea where it went or am I just stupid?
@eyedesyn4 жыл бұрын
It's moved to under the Caps Type dropdown!

Help pls) tell me pls is there a way to use this technique in R21? I select the quadrangles in caps type but there is no Regular fit check box and there is no Width control.
@eyedesyn5 жыл бұрын
in R21 it's called Regular Grid

Hi after i group both objext at the start the bend still wont work
@eyedesyn7 жыл бұрын
Make sure you're following the workflow correctly. You sound like you don't have the Bend deformer in the same level of hierarchy as the objects. Good luck!

Hi EJ, would I be able to use this technique to bend a little before breaking apart?
@eyedesyn7 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean?
@filmdon24757 жыл бұрын
Hey Ej, sorry about that. So basically i saw this video and wanted to apply it to a technique where i break a plank in half. But before splitting in half i wanted the plank to bend a little before breaking. I kind of figured my way around that, only issue is now my texture on the object is distorted because of the split and bending. Any suggestions on how I can keep texture preserved?

I use a Dark interface for my C4D UI for all my tutorials for added contrast
