This is awesome! Would love to see a full tutorial on some actual footwear modeling in C4D.
@ItsJessEdits Жыл бұрын
funny thing is these ARE actual footwear. the boots were really created to be worn, but they're definitely more of a statement piece than a functional one.

Great Tutorial 💪May I ask a short question? At 2:24 you Crtl+move out 2 polygons. When I do this, it affects only the 2 polygons without affecting the one above. But when you do it, it drags the lower edge of the polygon above with it. Why does this happen? I'm just restarting with C4D after quite some time and I can't figure this out 🤣
@NewPlastic Жыл бұрын
You know what, on second look I think I just dragged those polygons, without duplicating them (so without Ctrl). I think there were overlapping edges there which is why those edges appear to be appearing when I drag the polygons

Hi, you have very cool tutorials. I'm a beginner, but I noticed that your lighting is not standard in the scene, what's the reason for this and how to adjust it? Thanks.
@NewPlastic Жыл бұрын
What do you mean by not standard? Like the lighting techniques? I'm trying to always give you a glimpse into how I light the scene so you get an idea of what's going on, but if you want to dive deeper into lighting I have a whole series of tutorials about lighting on my channel, feel free to check them out!

@@NewPlastic When you added a cube and started setting the dimensions. You already had HDRI, Light, and Camera set up. Do you set this up beforehand or is this the way you always have the scene for lighting? Sorry for the banal questions.
@NewPlastic Жыл бұрын
@@Kegbup No question is banal! Me personally I created a startup project file, so whenever I open cinema I already have this setup. You can look up how to setup a startup project file in C4D, there's good tutorials about it.
