You certainly share a lot of my tastes in films and novels--(I'm the older Baby Boomer who commented on 'The Wicker Man')- 'Picnic in Hanging Rock' was one of my all-time favorites---at the time, the way it was filmed was so unique and beautiful! I would also add to that list "Don't Look Now', filmed in Venice. As for novels, I love Shirley Jackson (who died so young--52, I think). The book (not the film) "Never Let Me Go" is fascinating, too. Thanks for 'reminding' me of what I've loved--and what I've missed and can look now forward to!Lynn in NYC

Really enjoying your videos! Picnic at hanging rock is one of my favs , Also big Lynch fan Music wise , I don’t know if you’re into Boards of Canada but Picnic at Hanging Rock was one of their favs , and Music wise ( in the film) you can hear it :)

Liking your lists, man. Good stuff. And, just a side note, I love Lynch's Dune even though I hated it when I first saw it in the theatre. It makes Villeneuve's version boring to me, and yet I love Bladerunner 2049.

Thank you! I'm still waiting for Lynch to do a proper director's cut of Dune. I also think if he had done a series, it would have been something special. Hard to squeeze all that info into one two-hour movie.
