Thank you for the English subtitles!! :) it was really interesting to find out about the Gamera directors, I had no idea! Something I was very curious about when I watched the movie -- the Japanese exchange student Miki was infatuated with Native American legends/culture, in a similar parallel to how American Otaku admire Japanese Samurai and culture. Was there ever a period where Native American culture/legends were of interest to the Japanese public? I'm used to seeing the "Old West" influences more often centered around cowboys. If anything, I wish the episode was a little longer!
