I was raised on Band of Brothers (I was born in 2002) and grew up in my teens watching The Pacific. And now I get to watch Masters Of The Air as I start my 20s. I can’t even begin to tell you how much these mini series’ mean to me and my family. My Dad was 101st Airborne Air Assault during his deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in 2003-2005 and my Uncle (Dad’s brother) was a Marine and served in Desert Storm. On the other side of my family, my Aunt (Mom’s Sister) met her husband, my Uncle, (both USAF) while they were both stationed in Kunsan, SK. My Grandpa served in the Navy during Vietnam at the age of 17 and retired as an E9 in the Air Force in 2010. It’s been a long tradition for my family to meet up every Veterans Day and Thanksgiving weekend to marathon BoB & The Pacific. And now we get to add this wonderful series to the tradition. My Grandpa and Aunt have been so excited for this show to come out as they have both read the book this show is based off of. Tom Hanks, Stephen Spielberg, and everyone else who has had a part in all of these shows have truly done something special. It really means a lot to so many people, not just my family ❤.

When they are talking about the uniforms the flight jackets were supplied by a British company called Eastman leather. They make unbelievably authentic jackets ,my dad owns a US navy jacket, its now 15 years old and still looks new

Will there be any imagery of planes that doesn't look like it's from a video game?

This comment was just stupid. I read all the comments for the most part and yours wins the dumbest comment of 2024. Congratulations!

@@ArizonaGunsDave But your thoroughly articulate rebuttal is however stunningly insightful and astute. Very impressive acumen and erudition you possess. I'm humbled by your staunch defense of video game aesthetics. Versimilitude is in deed stupid, you're so correct. Yep, Dave sure is great!
