I loved this movie until I realised that it is romantic twist in suicide. Life is in the hands of the Lord God Almighty and taking it in our hands is not in His will.

Exactly! If was real when got back the daughter would have him arrested. Her blood would be on his hands for helping her to commit suicide. I was in shocked in the ending and so disappointed. I let go the one time he said, Jesus. I still sleep and say oh, God and repent. Was great movie but awful way to end it. That he would steal from her after all. I get it he felt was life threatening, but awful after all Fall did for him. Great he felt remorse and save to pay her. I too prayed he would be able to finish and she would of left boat to him. Finish his song and name after her, "Fall".

That is exactly my question. He let her alone in a big boat to die by her self alone? Very confusing notion of true love.

@@elmiraojaghian4741 - She is not sailing out to die. She is not terminally ill, she knows exactly what she´s doing and is in full control of the situation. The boat is repaired and fully stocked, she knows how to operate it. She is sailing out to live her dream, and he helped her make it come true. They obviously agreed to do it this way, he didn´t just abandoned her out at sea. She even wrote him a letter that (I assume) he was meant to read only once he´s left the boat. Fall reached both inner peace here, true joy in living her dream, freedom from the constraint of a retirement home, and in a way she is reunited with Harry because she is now finally doing what was intended to happen years ago with him. It´s a form of closure I guess. Eventually she will of course die, but it will be the way she wanted it: Live life to the fullest, and when the time comes, off she goes.

@@azizahkatan3941 - I agree. I was myself surprised by this ending, I thought he´d come with her. But then again, this is HER dream, and he made it happen for her. Adam´s dream was a music career, and she helped him get his life back on track, so he´s able to pursue it. Their paths crossed and they bonded and helped each other, but there is no need for them to live together from now on. However, we can assume they stay in touch as she called him family. Anyway, this is my interpretation.
