Hi, French guy here, at 18:55, we see the nuclear buttons with "bras" written on it. "Bras" means "arm" as the body part, but the verb "to arm" would be closer to "armer", "to weaponise", they used Google translate with just the word and got the noun instead of the verb, not even capable of translating a word ffs.

0:41 I think it's also worth noting that even with them managing to do that undetected at the time. Wire cutters would also be far more untraceable than whatever the fuck those heat glove things are. 8:45 - It's called Zeus because it's literally a "rods from god" system, a weapons system that has been theorized in the real world. The system works by dropping large tungsten rods from orbit, which accelerate as they enter Earth's atmosphere, and upon impact, strike with force far exceeding even a nuclear explosion. The devastation is very reminiscent of Zeus throwing his bolts of lightning in Greek mythology, hence the name in the movie.

The only 'advantage' - if you can call it that - that nuclear weapons have over the 'rods from god' concept is the radiation, making the area unlivable for years, if not decades. The reason the 'rods from god' system is so devastating is because it's pure kinetic bombardment, it's comparable to an asteroid impact if the majority of the asteroid didn't burn up during atmospheric entry - the twenty foot long, foot wide rod creates a blast roughly the same size that a nuclear bomb would, but due to the sheer speed, it also can penetrate bunkers that are buried deep underground that a traditional nuclear strike wouldn't touch. What's even more dangerous is that since they're launched from a satellite, and move so fast, they're far harder to counter than a nuclear missile. You can shoot a missile down. You can blast it with an electromagnetic pulse. You can't do that to a metal rod that's falling at supersonic speeds.

That means a fully-grown Zartan, who’s likely in his late 20’s/early 30’s (even though he looks old as fuck in the clip), impersonated and dressed-up as a 12-year-old boy, then murdered an old man, and nobody saw anything unusual lol. I like The Rise Of Cobra much better than Retaliation.
