FYI: C4 is extremely stable. You can throw it into a campfire and all it will do is burn. C4 requires an electrical trigger or a high powered blasting cap to explode. Without that you can play with it like Modeling clay.

@@robertagu5533 Mythbusters tested the idea a while back, and no matter what they tried (within the realm of sane and safe testing, anyway), it wouldn't go off. Yes, heat and pressure is what it takes, but the threshold for both in tandem is so high, it's almost impossible for it to go off by any other means than a detonator's blasting cap or some other form of explosive.

I was going to say this as well. But Hollywood has been screwing up explosives for a while now. Nearly every explosive in movies or TV is "C-4" but I don't remember a single one that portrayed it correctly. But instant high-explosive shockwaves don't look as good on film as incendiary fireballs. Considering he sinned the dial-tone on hang-up as unrealistic . . .

I actually was touched by the scene where Jackie Chan shows the photo of the girl to the arms dealer, pleads that he doesn't want her to die, and immediately demands a name, and the guy caves. It shows that the arms dealer isn't completely heartless; and it was likely Jackie Chan's best acted scene in the movie.

C4 won’t detonate with physical hits or fire. It is extremely safe and will mostly only detonate from the trigger.

You also have to create shaped charges and a dozen other uses where you have to mold it and add or subtract amounts. When you're carrying pounds upon pounds of C4 and other explosives and it's been weeks since the last real meal you've had, a couple chunks won't matter

I've been watching Jackie Chan films since the 80s so when i say that this and the sequels are a bit crap please know i do so with a heavy heart. I thought the first was one was good after the first watch. Didn't think much of the sequels on the first watch. I revisited them again recently and they are actually bad films. Most of the action scenes are terrible. The "jokes" are even worse.

Actually in California you did used to get a dial tone on land lines when someone hung up on you. Southern California had a different telephone system to the rest of the country because their services were independent of the Bell monopoly. He always had his tropes like the lap dance, bad ass bad girl, SKIP, and shit like that, but it was quick good humor, in between all the real sins he would find. Now he’ll spend a whole two minutes just to tell a joke that doesn’t even make sense, or isn’t even really a sin. Essentially, he’s veered away from actual sins, and now the whole video is jokes, vices before he found a good median for both.
