@@guyc1479 In my opinion Angel was great right away, all that Noir vibes in LA was great and "I can do whatever I want - can you fly?" line was great. I don't defend Season 4 tho, as apart from Beast and Jasmine, it wasn't great.

I’ve watched this movie so many times but just now caught the “God is at His Heels” written on the grave the very first vampire crawls out of! Weird way to put the guys with the Lord and with that being said RIP Luke Perry!! Still heartbroken over him! 😔😭

I think this might be the only time I've seen the film talked about without even mentioning the series. It's sort of surreal actually.

Ok wow. I just realised that I saw all these Hollywood actors for the first time in Buffy: The Vampire Slayer movie, and I was too young to realise who they all were. This is mind-blowing. I haven't seen this footage for 25 years.

“Why can’t there be more slayers?” Oh there are, if you follow the TV show there are thousands of slayers all over the world. I often did wonder if this movie’s events took place in the buffyverse. I mean, not every exact detail obviously, as ALOT of stuff was changed (the PMS thing, really?!). But in the TV show, Buffy refers to being at this school and that an event took place in the gymnasium (as this movie does). It’s interesting to think about

Theory: Because the Buffy character says pms is her superpower (for the purpose of this movie her superpowers go into overdrive when she's menstruating), that is exactly why the vamps are always around her and Cinema Sins says they're in "convenience-ville" so to speak. Her cycle is soo heavy, that all vamps can smell it. ...that's actually pretty insulting as a premise, but Cinema Sins dances around the topic very maturely. Well done!

@@lostlegend2197 "Nicolas Cage is a good actor in good movies and an almost indispensable actor in bad movies." - Roger Ebert. "People think I'm not in on the joke." - Nicolas Cage Yeah, he's over the top and annoying in bad movies, but that's because he knows they're bad and he's trying to wring some kind of entertainment value out of them. He is, unironically, one of my top 10 favorite actors.

So... did the head Vampire in this movie WANT Buffy to kill him? Cause he seems to do a lot a stupid things in this movie that made it super easy for Buffy to kill him. Like walking away because she wasn't ready yet which would give him the advantage, why does he leave because she's not ready. I get why the Watcher cares about her being ready but why does the Vampire. Why not kill her before she learns how to be a slayer? And also that scene where he just stands there rubbing her shoulders like a creep rather than killing her when he had plenty of opportunity to do so. I get the feeling that literally anyone could be a slayer because the Vampires in this movie are totally incompetent. The series is a lot better than this but it's amazing we even got a series based on this terrible movie that almost no one even knows exists. Still better than Twilight.
