Was Vector's age ever actually stated? I never even knew how old Gru was really supposed to be in the first film. These are poorly conceived CGI cartoons. It's less nonsensical than the X-Men reboot series having each movie take place in a consecutive decade while the main cast only ages by a year or two in between. Those start with 30-something James McAvoy playing a 20-something Xavier in the 60s, but by the 90s he's just shy of 40. Yet he's supposed to be formerly Jean-Luc Picard another decade after that.
