Burn: Cycle is by far the best CD-i game. I played Burn: cycle back in 1994 and it blew my mind! Burn: Cycle was in my opinion the only game on CD-i to show what the console was actually capable of.

epiccreepertnt I think the game is a lot of fun. It's very hard towards the end, but it's more of an action-puzzle-platformer. Figuring out how to beat a stage is part of the fun, IMO.

It really is! In stage 2 Mike missed the part about fixing the electricity. I figured out how to fix them by myself! =) Also it seems there is a way to save which I explained in my previous comment.

This trash should have been a 1980 arcade title, or maybe a port to nintendo, not a cutting edge 1994 CDI title. It's an example of people with too much money to spend, who want to make a console and be a game developer, but had no fucking clue how to do any of it. I still don't know what they were thinking. They must have ignored every logical person who knew about their plans and tried to tell them it was going to bomb hard. If you gave me this console as a kid, I'd have switched back to SNES in a day, and never touched this shit again.

It was more than a gaming console. It could play movies, music cd's, had an internal memory. Some had excellent sound quality. I've always loved the cd-i back in the day, because of all the functionalities. There were a few gems on the system as well.

The CDi is a ticking time bomb. There's a memory chip inside the console that has a battery imbedded inside the chip itself. Once that battery goes the system is basically dead.

okay, i admit, i had to search to find out the secret to hotel mario, since i never played it... the “secret” is you had to keep killing the enemies and eventually they stop coming out and you weren’t killing them, you were trying to avoid them. and the funny thing, i was sitting there scratching my head saying why is he hitting each caterpillar only 3 times and then not finishing them off? and then he killed one and another one comes out, so i forgive you for thinking they were endless, but if you would have killed the second ome that comes out, they would have stopped. and I see he eventually figures it out, but then in level 10, wtf, did he suddenly forget that Mario can jump?! you know, that thing he does in EVERY Mario game?
