Thanks. All manual focus. Used my fingers for minor adjustments. My aperture f4 on a micro four third so giving enough depth to play around. But I always make sure the distance is almost same with in that range of depth when moving.

@@girifilmmaking6240 what i found difficulty is, for example if i do zooming out for transition, maintain focus with manual focus ring is difficult. Cordination with focus ring and transition is not maintaining

@@ritish56 I was not doing both together. Focus ring (when aperture wide open) . And If I have to change focal length(zoom), I use a small aperture, so I have large range of depth to play with.

@@girifilmmaking6240 great. But here what i wrote zooming out means transition, mean at same focal lenth you move your camera back. In that case it is difficult to maintain focus on main thing.

@@ritish56 For big movements like that, it is really hard with aperture wide open, you need to have lots of expensive gear and extra people(focus puller etc). But when the aperture is small focus range will be large, if you move in or out to a large distance, your subject will still be in focus. That is what I did in this video.

Thanks mate😀. I used a panansonic GH4 with 7 - 14mm F4 lens👍. Aperture mostly used F4, its a micro third camera, so Full frame equivalent around 8!!

Thanks for the compliment and support. This how I get focus right. 1. Manual focus. 2. Practicing the moves with actor many times as possible, and sync with their moves 3. Adjusting the focus ring slightly with fingers(use extended fingers from the hand we hold on the bottom supporting the camera body and lens) . It will be quite easy when you practice the moves.
