Cinematic Handheld B-roll (promotional video for Guinness)

Here is a Cinematic handheld B-roll video I made for a pub in Montreal. It was for their Guinness promotion that they were having for Black Friday. I hope you enjoyed this fun video that I made for them.

Nice video 👍. What did you light the scene with? And what lens did you use?

Flom Flom I used two softboxes. They were the cheapest ones on amazon and aren’t really that great but they did the job. And I used the sigma 30mm 1.4! It’s my favourite all around lens and it’s decently priced. The only con is that it’s hard to pull focus on. 😄

@@EmilyHamilton. Thanks for your answer. I finally tried to shoot this kind of handheld broll video (a totally improvised version trying to follow my wife cooking) with my a6300 and sigma 16mm and it turned out to be not that bad for a non stabilized combo. That's a really fun exercise and now want to do a planned shooting with multiple takes to get a result like yours. That's very nice to see you posting the results of your paid job with "minimalist gear".

Flom Flom I would love to see the results when you finish shooting! You must have steady hands! Also I have been thinking of buying the 16mm sigma! My next one is of a gaming chair, just need to get paid before posting it 😂
