Color grading this is tricky because of that fluorescent light. It's all about finding a balance between it looking somewhat natural but still getting that gritty greenish/yellowish fluorescent look... I think it turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Hello! could you make some tutorials on how to do color grading without using log footage? most cameras dont have the capability to shoot in log, so I would really love it if you could do that.

Wow, I'm early! Glad you're giving more lighting tips! Pretty sure that this shot could feel amazing after some small sound design like a running shower for example. That's one way of making the mist overlay work as well if you don't want to actually create steam in the bathroom while filming. Great video! Easy setup, good tips! Thanks Joris ✌

What cheap light/softbox did you use? It doesn't look like the ones in your links...

No idea, it's a nameless panel I have but I used the softbox from my Amaran P60x panel so it's about the same size as that one...

Do you use the Zoom Recorder for all your audio? or was it just for in the bathroom as the camera was behind you?

Brilliant video joris. Wow really impressed with that cinematic look. Can I ask what LUT you used? Was it the one that come in davinci resolve? That look reminds me of the movie Joker. Remember the scene where he looks in the mirror and puts his fingers in his mouth to force a smile. Exact same look in green lol
@JorisHermans2 жыл бұрын
Yes exactly! 😄 I used Alister Chapman's Blockbuster LUT for S-log 3. I think it's still a free download on the Sony website.
