16:34 - OH YEAH. This definitely premiered on Cinemax first. There was a bumper for the hit movie in 1991 on September 11th.

Again I think Cinemax stomped HBO. Before original programming, and Cinemax actually had actual original programming long before HBO on a mass level ("SCTV" comes to mindand that was more popular than "Not Necessarily the News" or "Dream On," both shitty shows). LOL shit even as a classic movie network (1997 - 2008) it still stomped HBO HBO only started becoming king because of many shitty shows that were forgotten like "The Sopranos." The only good stuff they had was "The Corner," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Game of Thrones." And maybe "Rome" as like "Game of Thrones," it's actually international (maybe Italian for "Rome"; "Game of Thrones" is obviously British and likely aired in the UK on ITV while it was being aired on HBO here in the States). Before then, SPORTS (and even then HBO's boxing was not truly indigenous to it) was the only reason HBO had an edge over Cinemax. They did the behind the scenes of many movies before HBO did.

In the end, Tupac became such a cliché of the "Thug Life".
