Although the original author said bong-joon changes the story a lot, I really hope he doesn’t change the tone of the book! The dry humour and comedic relief from the narrator was one of the best parts of the book!

Nobody wants to die - the problem of beeing a multiple is a conflict of cooperation with yourself and society. Imagine how easily democracy could be overrun by any person that could be immortal and multiple so voting for its own opinion that benefits himself conservating a status quo for decades.
