Behind the screens.. the last 6 minute dialogue between Nitya and her mother were not on the script... both actors were just explained the idea behind the scene and then they were both let free with their own creativity.... so last 6 minutes were on the spot improvisation by both Ms Shreya and Ms Mannini De... as they say "emotions are never scripted"

Very nicely done short film. Sensitive and so radical ! Amazing in its perceptive depiction of an old theme in its contemporary dilemmas. Mothers and daughters have an ambivalent relationship that can be disempowering for both when it gets judgemental and prescriptive. This film is healing in it's acceptance of changing forms of femininity ...in fact of just being oneself. Inspiring love of mothers and daughters who accept their differences and empower each other through their own validation and appreciation of exactly who they are. Mature theme handled very well.❤

A fantastic film. Such a big idea portrayed in a short film. Film's ialogues have have beautifully conveyed the idea that most of the present day conflicts in many woman relationships is that women are trying to be more like men and competing like men. All the three artists have played their characters very well. Overall, the film has succeeded in presenting the idea.

I liked the film, direction, cast, acting (I liked the mother's acting best) were all good, but I LOVED this script!! It resonated with me deeply!! I truly believe that the "feminists" often defeat the purpose when women to lose their femineity & "man-up". Being a G.I. Joe, became so common that we ended up with G.I. Janes becoming a norm (especially here in the west!?) WHY can we not let the men be better at SOME thing (😘!?), since a lot of things that come to us naturally, they are totally clueless about😜!? Jokes aside, we are breeding generations of women who are losing their femininity simply because being manly or "manning up" is the new norm!! Equal opportunities should be given (or demanded) in the work place if men & women do the same job & achieve the same level of success. It's simply progressive to do so, and backward not to. But equal rights in a civilized society should be taken for granted in the 21st century, simply because WE ARE BORN EQUAL - ONLY DIFFERENT - Nature intended it to be that way!! Men & women are simply two different genders, always have been, always will be!! I sincerely believe WHY & WHEN women were made to feel they had to "man up" to get equality is when & where the feminists started to be extremists & extremism is always messed up!! This latest trend of calling all (male & female) "ACTORS" feels offensive to me - It's an insult to progressive women, EVERYwhere!! THAT in itself proves that we consent to male dominance &/or superiority, when in truth MEN ARE NOT SUPERIOR, THEY ARE SIMPLY A DIFFERENT GENDER THAN WE ARE!! How would a male actor like to be referred to as an "ACTRESS"?? Try that one for size & see🤨!? Ohhh, I could write an essay on the subject (I almost did - L😋L!?) But enough said.
