This was a really well put together guide that made me more want to try cinestill during the day. Good job Dakota.

Thanks for the detailed review! I’ve never tried 800T cause I usually shoot outside in natural light but really love how the warming filter works out doors.

Thanks for watching! I would definitely give it a shot at least once, as you can get some beautiful results. The warming filter really does come in handy when you're looking for more of a "regular" daylight balanced film look.

@ I’ll have it give it a try sometime!

That's good timing right there, appearing in my feed a day prior a night film photo trip in NYC. Appreciate the written technical terms definition!

Not a problem. Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!

good video. For that cinematic, but warmer, daytime use I've enjoyed the FlicFilm Elektra. A little less versatile at 100 ISO, but also has been cheaper than CineStill.

I might have to check that out! I've never used that film before. Thank you for watching!

What iso setting did you use? I always use 500 iso.

800 for pretty much all of them except the ones of the woman in the red dress. Those were at 500.

@ Thanks for responding. That’s what I expected. It’s a matter of personal style. For me with 800 ISO the dark areas mostly look underexposed and greenish. So I personally prefer 500 ISO. Liked your video.
