Hi, just to say, regarding the paper angels you bought, that here in Scotland many years ago we called them scraps. And most girls at primary school kept them in a book or journal, and so girls would pass each other’s book of scraps to each other. Then, the idea was to put at the top of each page, overlapping the edge of the book, those scraps you really liked. Then you’d return your books to each other, and those overlapping the page edges would be decided if you wanted to swap for one another’s best favourites. This way you could end up with the most favourite scraps you’d seen ever. The scraps themselves were very varied and were sold in a lot of shops. So all girls tended to have access to different shops and therefore different scraps. Thanks for bringing back such lovely childhood memories for me. I hope you’ve had a wonderful Xmas and new year and especially liked your new mittens. Maria x

Btw the stickers are called "glansbilleder" and were very popular among kids to collect back in the days (kind of their version of Pokémon cards). My mom have two albums filled with them from when she was a kid and they're still so pretty :) You have these albums with sticky sides or some kind of film on top that you put the "glansbilleder" under so that they stay in place. They're so pretty and have that unique retro Christmas vibe ✨ I actually think my mom still have those albums, gotta take a look at them when I go home for Christmas for sure!

In danish they are called "glansbilleder" i think, it just looks like this too me and I'm from Denmark. As little girls we used to collect "glansbilleder" and swap them with each other.
