Forgot about this trail, we normally go over Engineers to Lake City. Been a long time. We drove this pass in the 80s hasnt changed much. Beautiful. "Thanx Fer Sharin"

Finally I found a great exploration and driving experience video without disturbing music. We need to hear sound of wind, sounds coming from ground while driving and also some sound of engine. This way We can feel the nature better and learn road conditions. That's what I'm looking for! Thanks for bringing us amazing scenery of Colorado.

I just watch this and the second part, I loved every minute, especially the way you stopped and panned the vista with your camera , such a great way to show off the beauty of the mountains, keep it up, happy aussie.

Watched your vid before I went out to Colorado last week. The pass definitely looked smoother in your vid lol. When I did it last week, it was definitely rougher and the switchbacks are quite rutted out. You also made the switchbacks look alot easier than I did in my crewcab F250 lol.

I'm headed up to CO next week with my f250, those switchbacks don't look anywhere near as tight as I thought they'd be. Think a crew cab with a long bed would make em?

@@TheEdge549 I did in mine but on a couple I did have to back up and do a two point turn. As long you're careful you'll be fine. My niece's cousin whom was riding with me, definitely did not like that lol.

Did I see some two wheel drive vehicles coming down from the pass?

It has been years since I have driven over that pass. I still believe my Subaru could make it.

Gonna be heading there in a few months and driving from Lake City to American Basin that way. Being a flatlander I sure hope the camera makes the road look a little more narrow than it actually is at a few spots 😅

I know these are old, but does anyone have any tips on GoPro settings on how to record quality video this long?
@Huneycutt3 жыл бұрын
On some of these videos I may have stopped the video every 20-30 minutes and spliced them all together. I wasn't too concerned about missing a portion and was able to get all of the trail. Also check your memory card is fast and has plenty of storage.
