Follower of Adler Farms and Grandpa Aer Farmers. As my, at the time 4 year old, granddaughter called her first Highland cow "Grandma, look, a hippie cow" I had to ask why she called it that, her answer was priceless "It has long hair like hippies have. Don't you remember that?" Lol yep, I remember hippies and actually knew some. I don’t know where she knew that from. Anyways, we call them Hippie cows now.

But at 74 a little old to start that now - so I will love yours from afar. (WV is a tad bit far to actually come up close to see them) Anxious to watch your previous videos.

It's really nice to meet you, Rhett, and your farm/ranch and all of your lovely Highlander cattle!❣️❣️ It's very exciting for Chad to be able to receive one of your lovely, beautiful Calves!! All of us are so excited for him and his Family… This is going to be such a great experience for the boys. I grew up on a farm with cattle and there's nothing like having a baby calf to take care of. We had plenty of cattle and even though we had plenty in our family it was nice to have one assigned to us even though we knew eventually it would go somewhere else. But there was another one waiting in the wings for us to take care of. I'm looking forward to watching your KZbin site. Already I've watched a number of your videos and you have an easy voice to listen to, and I like your style of videoing.… But especially I love your animals. We had large cattle on our farms both dairy and beef and I so wish we would've had Highlanders. It would've been nice not to be frightened of what you had to take care of and not because of the horns… The massive size alone made me a nervous child and even a nervous teenager just because I got bigger so today it seemed! And they didn't have the docile personalities at the highest lander has. Ours were Cantankerous and moody, especially the dairy cattle. Their feet were huge and you had to be very aware of what your feet and their feet were doing at all times. One of my brothers had a broken foot/leg that did not heal from the time. I'm sure getting gorged by a horn could not be any fun either but I'm telling you it's still worth the trade off to have a Highlander not to mention all the great fun and friendship that you develop. I love that your cattle have a rainbow of browns and tans and cinnamons and even white! They're just so beautiful and I love their eyes. You can see a lot about cows' Temperament by looking into their eyes. You have very gentle cows. Now the Calves, you can see they're still non-trusting and skittish, but that's to be expected. And the younger ones especially but I saw by two of them that they're learning to trust you and love you for kindness and protection. It's gonna be a lot of fun watching your KZbin and chats. I also watch Goldshaw farms as he just recently purchased five Highlander's for the first time. Give him a look as he's only had them a few weeks and he has 160 acres with other small animals on his farm but he and his wife have worked very hard at learning about farming and growing different types of produce and he really loves his cattle in fact all of his animals and he has a guard dog name Toby who everybody has fallen in love with. I'm going to tell him about your website so he can get knowledge from you as well. Best of luck to you and all your cows❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
