+Potatoe Princess Hi sorry for the late response. Bento is basically a lunch box in Japan. We make it in the morning and eat during lunch. It's up to you if you would want to microwave it or not when eating, so it's not necessary. I will see if I could make one without rice or bread in the future ^^

Rachel Guyette Bento are basically lunch boxes in Japan. You make them in the morning, and eat it in lunch, so they're supposed to be served cold. However, you could eat it immediately if you would want to as well.
