This is what separates Bjork as an artist from those singers out there. When she sings, everyone listens. No one sings with her like crazy just like they do with other singers. People just listen and intake the art this woman shares. Just simply perfection!!

I was there, i had goosebumps for three days . I am not joking, you could feel the electricity in the air, the entire audience was transported . I have been to many many concerts of many artists , among the biggest and nothing compares to a Bjork's live performance , NOTHING ! And i don't say that because i am icelandic .

My favorite bjork song. I have many. Adore the album version, but this... this is so fucking sexy. The strings arrangement was what made me fall in love with this song in the first place. That yearning, sweeping, slippery chorus, & the high-pitched fifth that stretches across the lead-in to it that builds intensity... it evokes this joyful desperation, this longing. I dunno, man, it's just speaking to me in my own personal language. Like it's a part of me, like it belongs to me. Fuck I know someone knows what I mean. In this live performance, the strings are slower & savored... And there are these fleeting, subtle little changes in the arrangement that make me giddy. A note here & there, a harmony. Perfectly placed twinkles, such that they could be practiced or improvisational... this is one of the things I strive for as I compose. Just one note can change the tone, phrase, color, it can morph into unexpected shapes, unintended complexity. It can change my direction, change a listener's experience. Many times it's just one note that gets me in the throat. On the album, Joga fades out gracefully. The chord they end with here is so satiating & sweet. I could go on & on about her breathtakingly flawless vocal as well, but I've already waxed poetic for a spell now. I'm grateful for the effortless infection music is, it's been my fondest companion, my fevered obsession, my omnipresent healer, my rebellious forgiver. It never leaves me alone. Never.

I don't think there are harmonic changes in the arrangement here compared to the studio version. But anyhow, nice and insightful comment. This here is definitely one of my favorite live versions of one of my favorite Björk songs. The atmosphere they create here is fantastic, even though I also like the studio version very much with its contrast of the melody and the strings on the one hand and the drum computer beat on the other hand.

You know all those old cartoons and movies of mobsters crying when listening to Enrico Caruso? That's me with Bjork, particularly this song, and especially this version. I can't think of another more beautiful piece of popular music.

Well I don't think she's joga. Bjork has taken joga to Cannes festival 2000. you can google it and you'll find them in some official pictures :) But that moment 4:08 is so magical.. I'm melted
