I'm here to thank you Cinthia Truong, why? Well because I stumbled upon my younger sister watching this very video and practicing this technique. When I entered her room she immediately resorted to telling me to get out I as her older brother asked her "why" she said “because” with that plain answer I realized she took this as a passion not just as a hairstyle since my older sister was impressed by her skills as well. Sorry for double commenting, but I did this. My hair is insanely long though(hip length) so instead of just crossing the braids and tucking the ends like you did, I crossed the braids, wrapped the long parts over the top of my head, and then tucked the ends and it worked out great! :D

Wow, I can't wait to try this, this is beautiful! And I think I will actually be able to do it, I know the technique used in that braid, & the rest looked pretty simple. The only thing that may not work out for me though is the fact that it's bobby pinned-I have trouble with bobby pins, like even if I hairspray them, & put them in my hair like you do, where you sort of turn the pin under, they just don't seem to stay in my hair, no matter what I do.

I had this problem too. When adding in the pieces of hair, add in bigger chunks. also when you get to the end, tuck the excess hair into the poof thing and bobby pin it. It hides it pretty well.
