Thinking about the name of this group, Circa Paleo, I find that the word "Circa" is usually considered from the Latin, meaning 'around, about, roughly, approximately', but "Circa" could be an alternative form of "Circus", a traveling company of acrobats, clowns, and other entertainers. "Paleo", of course, means older or ancient. Taken together, the name is a clever play on words. It is certainly unique, thus fitting for such a talented group of musicians.

She knows her stuff! Musically, historically, and musicologicallalallyaly which earns her mountains of respect and admiration. On top of that she's a superb musician. I've listened to many versions of Dougie Maclean's Mohicans pieces, and some musicians ruin it. Jenny throws a little dixieland drawl in there and it sounds perfect.
