Feathers will fly in Circa’s exuberant take on Swan Lake when Duck Pond opens at the Galway International Arts Festival on Friday 19th July for six performances only.
Be swept away by this tale of swans and hapless princes sparkling with quirky touches like the sequined flipper-wearing duck army and a burlesque black swan. There are sumptuous aerials, jaw-dropping acrobatics and of course feathers! Touching, funny and utterly entertaining, Duck Pond is a tale of identity and finding your true self.
This unmissable production will be staged at the Festival Theatre, Kingfisher, University of Galway. Created by circus visionary Yaron Lifschitz with members of the globally renowned Circa ensemble, this is one of the company’s most ambitious works yet.
