My dad and I listened to bands like Circa Survive, Muse, Gorillaz and Coheed and Cambria together all the time and hearing any song by the bands always brings back such happy memories. This one is one of my favorite Circa songs. When I first heard the lyrics I didn't understand what they meant, but as I got older and started to struggle with depression as well as have all kinds of dangerous addictions tempting me in all different directions I stopped to appreciate the lyrics. Music really helped me get through the shit I had to deal with growing up, and I've got this band and many others to thank for making such powerful music.
