[FR] Circle of Live est-il un collectif ou un label ? Un peu des deux ! Chapoté par le Suédois Sebastian Mullaert, ce projet invite au grès de ses concerts la crème de l’electro et place l’improvisation au cœur de ses performances live.
Sebastian Mullaert himself a répondu présent à l’appel de Passengers. Il est venu accompagné par Neel et Vril. Passengers oblige, on a donné rendez-vous à Circle of Live dans un lieu lié au voyage : un aérodrome ! Entourés d'avions anciens, les trois acolytes nous offrent un live unique et nous font voyager loin, très loin.

incredible recording. just imagine that someone with quite high authority at arte must have greenlighted the production. this is something you won't get with private broadcasters. i got lucky to catch this when it was posted on facebook for the first time. couldn't believe my eyes/ears. to me this was immediately a classic. thanks to everyone involved. this is electronic music.

47 minutes in and... well.. I really really like the performance. But, all these slow pans and handheld shots are super boring. Mind you I would love to visit this museum. But, the way this is directed and cut lends nothing of value past the first few minutes where the viewer is familiarizing themselves with the scene. I think it'd be much more valuable to focus on the performers hands, on the instruments. Show us the dynamic elements in the performance. All I see here is a really technically well-shot screensaver. Cheers and thanks for posting this excellent collaboration!
