By definition, a short rest is 4 hours.

On the level 6 ability, there is a very good synergy with it and thats plant growth. You simply use magic to overgrow the plants, but it doesnt have a duration and the plants arent magical. So you can walk through plants overgrown from plant growth without losing any movement at all

With sanctuary, that's entirely the point. It's party composition based, honestly, with how spell focused land druid is, you probably wouldn't have other squishier casters in your party comp

On the land that you are resting in homerule I'd say can work if it works as "you MUST " and not a you "you MAY", if you may you'll always try to change for the best and keep it while you feel it will still outrank others, if it is a you must may even make you try influencing the rest places and make a funny "the druid stays awake not resting" situation sometimes that then has other disadvantage

6Th lv Land's Stride feels like masaively missed opportunity especially because dmg from Spike Growth or reduced movement speed from Plant Growth does not roll Saving Throw BTW, who decided to add Water Breathing and Water Walk at the same time in Coast druid? What a laugh riot!

Actually having both water walk and water breathing on coast makes sense. It could be a bridge is out so you just walk across the river or lake. Instead of using a wild shape. Or you need to explore something under water, or save a drowning person. Could be you were out of wild shapes. It wasn't appropriate to wild shape. Or you just wanted to make a point. You are on the coast. Water is everywhere.
