We know that world, where life is a struggle because no one gives you a break. But according to A Course in Miracles, that’s the illusion, and we can look past that illusion “into beauty that will enchant you, and will never cease to cause you wonderment at its perfection.”
That, says the Course, is the real world.

Thanks for this great discussion about the Real World. It helped me remember some experiences that I've had before. In particular, the day that I felt the wing from an airplane loved me. It's not an experience I usually tell others because it may sound ridiculous and as Emily said, sounds like a Disney movie. it happened without fanfare, I was traveling from Paris back home, sat on my plane seat, and look by the window to see the wing of the plane. I felt like the wing was loving me, and it had the purpose of flying me home, it was perfectly made for me. I felt gratitude for it and the love it was giving me I felt I was giving back. I guess there are no good words to describe it, as it seems removed from our normal reality, but it was a really touching moment for me.

This real world is something I experience when on pyschedelic mushrooms. I used to call it the "spirit realm" but now I will refer to it as the real world.

The real world is seeing with the mind, rather than the bodies eyes. We see the physical world with our bodies eyes and with a judging mind, but see the real world with the mind that has forgiven itself, thus having let go of all of ego's judgement that is the heavy veil covering over our true perception and the real world of true beauty. The real world is the true perception of the Holy Spirit, the perception of innocence and holiness. The final vision that the healed mind looks out into the world from. I’m relieved to learn that ACIM does not fall in line with the spiritual bypass so often used to condone negation and mistreatment of other life forms (plants, animals, minerals, and so on). Whether we think we see a Real world or not, the right way to be is to treat all within it with reverence for its inherent beingness 🙏 🧡

I think you guys are describing Oneness in all these ideas. Many students greatest fear is to Not exist, and Oneness seems a bit cramped and I will lose my identity, and damn, Hitler will be in there, lol. But I am receiving a much different description, that the Oneness is broad and roomy, inclusive, and everyone loves everyone with the Love of God. So it would be not a confinement, and no one loses their identity, in fact you find your True identity Everyone. Kind of great.

The Real World is not a tough, dog-eat-dog adult world but an intermediary world between heaven and this world, a sneak preview of coming attractions as I see it. It's not quite heaven yet but it's a state that is ready for God to help us take the final step.

The movie Lost Horizon from 1973 encompasses many of these ideas. Can be watched on Tubi. Seen it when I was 11 and I never forgot it. Which is why I have been on this path ever since.

I mean there is no death, no pain, and I can love a roasted chicken, and it can love me. I have no problem with vegetarians, but there can be a lot of judgment around and from that lifestyle, lol

Many times the course says "the world you see" so my understanding would be, everything that is here, you have pasted your judgment on top of what is really there. So "the world you see" is not the real world. It is seen through the bodies eyes tainted with judgment, so it's projected out, and what is real cannot be seen outside, because it is Not outside, both worlds are illusion of and in the mind. The vision is seeing the world from the eyes of Love or an old term, the spiritual eye.

Why would you not by faith identify, cognise and validate the real word and heavenearth instead of perceiving the illusory error, and make that your system? Wouldn't that cognition be salvation as Jesus speaks of? Why not decide for the Kingfom and its vigilance?? 🙏🏻
