Yeah, ditto to wanting a lead on the mod process for this thing (and any other vintage/"cheap"/digital rack FX!) - a schematic of your mods would be fantastic, but even a forum thread with your process or something would be great!

Thanks for your interest! I'm really not an expert. This is my first real bend that wasn't a cheap toy. No schematic to share really, I just winged it based on what I learned here: www.circuitbenders.co.uk/tutorials/LTCinstallation1.html and here: www.circuitbenders.co.uk/bendbus.html

Found your channel by chance. I have a 1201 and wondered how easy it is to do this?

Hey thanks for watching. If you've got experience soldering I would say it's about a 4/10 difficulty. I had very little soldering experience and was able to do it just fine. I learned everything I needed to do this bend over here: www.circuitbenders.co.uk/tutorials/LTCinstallation1.html The unit is an easy teardown. For the bend switches on the right side, I soldered directly to the pins of the IC, which required a steady hand. They are wired in a bus bend configuration as described here: www.circuitbenders.co.uk/bendbus.html For the clock/pitch mod on the left, you'll need an LTC 1799 timing chip to replace the existing timer. The guys at circuitbenders.co.uk also have an Etsy shop that will sell you an LTC 1799 on a board with the correct resistors for cheap. I bought four of them. Good luck, let me know how it goes!
