CIRCUIT BREAKER CLOSING SPRING CHARGING CIRCUIT CONNECTION : MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

CIRCUIT BREAKER NEEDS TO CHARGE ITS CLOSING SPRING TO BE CLOSED. THEREFORE, A CONTROL CIRCUIT CONSIST OF LIMIT SWITCH ALONG WITH CHARGING MOTOR OF SUITABLE RATING ARE REQUIRED. AFTER EVERY CLOSING OPERATION, CLOSING SPRING IS REQUIRED TO REMAIN READY AND CHARGE CONDITION FOR NEXT CLOSING OPERATION. IT IS DONE AUTOMATICALLY. If spring is continuesly charging and discharging what is the problem & how check??

If once closing Spring is become charged ,then it should be obviously discharged once by any means for next cycle either to close the CB or to perform close followed by open.But repeated/continuous operation of closing followed by opening without any closing / tripping commend generally occurred after performing a trip due to mechanical problem of CB.Pl.try following steps-1)Isolate the CB, after switching off the AC motor power switch and check CB mechanism if half closed. relief jamming of trip latch situated near trip coil. 2) place LRS at Local mode, check anti-pumping and relay circuit. Thanks.

Pl. isolate the CB first by any means. sw.off AC/DC both. hope that CB is at half closed. try to open the CB by any means. if not then take long and fat screw driver and stick at trip liver/latch. sp.will be discharged. Function of limit sw. is to connect motor circuit for spring charging,then dis -connect thee circuit and it is working .I hope your problem will be solved.
