To me, they are still an experience. Unlike others, I still see the magical joy of browsing through a Walmart, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble or even the local mall. There’s nothing like going into a store filled with so much goods and products, that you just want to rummage through it all. Touching everything you can. Feeling and analyzing each item intensely. And then going through the vast halls of a store, going through all the twist and turns into different section. It feels like one giant world made up of several different mini worlds. I think the problem is, that most people just want to do things the easy way: online. I get that people don’t all the time to go to the store and get back. But when you have free time, don’t just stay at home watching KZbin or playing video games with your friends. Meet up physically and go to a store! Why just order things online and stay at home doing nothing while you can be active, get exercise and expend some energy in a fun intriguing manner? And something while you’re at it. Thats what the store is for. To buy things.

There was an old circuit city right by my house. It’s now some Hispanic grocery store. But the building is the exact same with the square plug shape. They didn’t even repaint it so it looks cool seeing it when you drive by

The service at our Circuit City was impeccable. The people working there actually knew their products, not just a script. The computer sales folk wouldnt hesitate to open up a display model right there so you could see the internals yourself. As opposed to Best Buy where the workers treated you like a burden (Assuming you get someone to help you in the first place.).

Everything was better in the 90's. The 90's was the best era. Best TV, Best way of life, best stores, best time. Then the 200's came...and it all went down hill from there. I'm speaking in terms of America. I can't say for the rest of the world. The lead-up to the 90's was great...the 90's hit and it was spectacular..200's came and the woke mind set started to give birth.

It would have been awesome if they never closed in the first place. Systemax also owned the Comp USA brand as well).

One of three reasons why C.C. went out of business. 1) The basics: Managers fuck the companies they work for in mysterious ways. 2) Where there was one, there was also a Best Buy, either nearby at least a block away or just next door. 3) The Entity's Way, we may know the name at front, but not the true one, behind that name approving the offer: "For every $.$$ you spent, we'll give you $$$.$$", After purchased, for closing its doors the Evil one (The competition/s ??) Wins: "Mission Accomplished". Just ask yourself this question. Why C.C. went out of business but B.B. (Best Buy) didn't?.
@Headroom234 жыл бұрын
@argent2020: You are right. This is how Circuit City FIRST went out of business. This video was to promote the RETURN of CC.
@argent20204 жыл бұрын
@@Headroom23 I remember C.C. was like getting inside a modern spaceship (The ones you see in movies), while getting inside B.B (Even today's date) it's like getting inside a 1970's spaceship). There were three other stores in which I can only remember two that were modern, Comp USA (So, so) and Incredible Universe (Later on became an Online Store before becoming Fry's Electronics). I d k, but Fry's I believe it's going down. Nothing like it used to be, last time I was there, that by the way didn't have what I went to buy, it was like being at a cemetery under deep thick black clouds, very depressing. I think in this case Walmart is to blame. There's a Town in Texas call Denton. Walmart is prohibited in that Town, so in retaliation, right at the border of that Town Walmart open a distribution center just to break the people of Denton's balls with the increase of traffic and noise, not to mention the dust clouds the make on those dirt roads. I remember K Marts, but...their fate was sealed. I just don't know why Target still around, I say that because Target sucks, they don't have jack. Funny though, I once passed thru Ennis, TX and I stop at a Piggy Wiggly.... How sad, just found out they're no longer in Texas......funny though, just find out as well the last two were in Denton, TX.
