Circular House Capsule Hostel Review.

Located centrally in Singapore, these Box shaped capsules in the dorms are somewhat disappointing. Comfortable beds but not many positives staying here for a week. It would have been more acceptable if the booking.com description had been more realistic.
Anyway, this is my short review of the hostel so you can make your own minds up if it is for you. Do not expect to start cooking though as there is no kitchen.

let me know. I was only trying to do the review as I saw the place, so if it has improved all well and good. The prices of hotels is high in Singapore, and this is affordable and well located. What annoyed me was that the booking.com description was extremely misleading.

Are the capsules noise and sound proof?

they are not. They are made of plywood, some sliding capsule doors do not slide easily and bang. They could do many small changes to the rooms to make the areas so much nicer, but it seemed when I was there, they do not care. Maybe the washing machines and drinks cabinet are working, maybe they provide a breakfast that is more than toast ?

We have budget issue so because i booked this for my family for 3night is it ok for my 3yrs daughter.is it child friendly or not

The capsules are a large double bed so once the door is closed it is safe. The bathrooms are not nearby (it depends on the location of your capsule). With a young child better to request lower bunk for easier access. So I feel it would be ok for your daughter

Interesting video, the pods look like a good idea but disappointing to see how it all worked in practice.

Some dorms are maybe quieter than the one I was in with the windows. Sometimes it comes down to inconsiderate people, but the management really do not seem to care, as they could easily make minor improvements to the pods doors and cupboards to reduce noise, and give more for a breakfast or remove the description on booking.com which makes the whole place seem amazing. No kitchen facilities is a problem for people booking here expecting to find a fully functioning kitchen for home cooking. All there is, is a hot and cold unit to each floor, for your cup noodles !!! Great location but it is just a comfortable bed and good showers, but that's all.

Poor hostel management looks like they also running out of budget.They have another hostel nearby and it already closed down.

It was very busy so they are getting customers and money in, but for whatever reason, do not attend to providing working machines (coffee, washing machines/driers). The worst thing is the description of facilities at the hostel, which are extremely misleading. The beds were comfortable, and staff friendly, but the whole places needs some TLC
