Circus Animals In Cultural War: Defining 'Entertainment'

A factual, well-done interview by an involved person who clearly knows the backstory and speaks from first-hand knowledge of circus and their animals' activities. Circuses could not have a better spokesman and advocate. Animal activism against circuses is baseless and activists are single minded and ill-informed. It makes sense that these shows would care for their animal performers (inasmuch as over 90,000 elephants are slaughtered needlessly in Africa alone!) as well as their human performers (who are hard-working, employed, and content) - they are what keep these wonderful, family-oriented, traditional forms of entertainment available to future generations. Why would anyone want to take that away from our kids and grandkids? What better involvement with animals, people, fun, and folks from all over could there be as this family activity? There isn't another organization on the face of the earth that encompasses, diversity, inclusion, tolerance, and work ethic like the circus. In this age of rampant social media, fake news, mindless protests, the circus is a refreshing place to be.

These things need to be shared by everyone. Most people don't know the struggle of the circus. Young families need to put away video games for a day and cime to the circus, too.
