In 1975, mum and i had a 15 day holiday to California, Nevada, and Arizona from Sydney, Australia. We were supposed to stay at the Sands in Las Vegas, but due to a booking problem they transferred us to the Circus, Circus Hotel and Casino. It was undergoing some renovations at the time, but this did not affect our stay there. This was something i had never seen in a hotel before. Looking at your video in 2024, i would never recognise the place. There were no very tall buildings back then. The largest ones were the MGM Grand, and Caesars Palace, where Frank Sinatra was performing. The other main casinos were the Stardust, Lido, Golden Nugget, Riviera, Circus, Circus, and the Sands.
